TAYLOR, Jesse E., 81, died January 15, 1979, in Safford, Ariz. Survived by daughters, Margie Burk of Prescott, Az., Helen Clifford, Eva Gene Shiflet, Charlene Good, all of Safford, Patsy Beavers of Tucson, La Rue Nobel of Tempe, Georgie Nobel of Calexico, Calif.; sons, Jess Irvine Taylor of Safford and LaVar Taylor of Placentia, Calif,; 37 grandchildren and 61 great grandchildren.
Mr. Taylor was preceded in death by his wife, Eva Iris Hoopes Taylor, grandson Paul Taylor Burk and granddaughter, Audrey Ann Taylor. Mr. Taylor was born in Colonial, Juarez, Mexico and resided in Safford since 1919.
Funeral services will be held at the Layton 2nd Ward Church in Safford on Thursday, January 18 at 2 p.m. Interment will follow at the Safford Cemetery.
