SIERRA VISTA- Jennifer Anne Lamken, 43, of Sierra Vista, passed away on Friday, September 22, 2017 in Bisbee, Arizona.

Known throughout her life as Jenny, she came into the world on Tuesday, April 2, 1974 in Monticello, Utah. She preferred to be called Jennifer in her later years.

Jennifer enjoyed working with handicapped students during high school. After graduating from high school, she attended Cochise College and then Eastern Arizona College. She met her future husband Matthew Lamken, while working at Aegis in Sierra Vista where she had lived since 1992.

Jennifer had a great love for music. She sang in many choirs, could instantly harmonize with most sopranos, and played the violin, viola and cello in college orchestras.

Like her father and mother, she used her many talents with friends, family and at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She also graduated from the church seminary program.

Dogs were very important to her, and she dearly loved her own family lab, Sandy. When passing any dog on the street, she would stop and happily greet each one. Jennifer was a friendly, outgoing person who, despite her mental illnesses, reached out to everyone with a happy smile.

Jennifer is survived by her son, Alexander John Lamken; mother, Pamela (Jack) Gore; father, Retired CW4 Paul (Donna) Clark; brothers, Brent and Adam Clark; and grandmother, Inez Candiello.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 29, 2017 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1655 Avenida del Sol. Interment will follow at Cochise Memory Gardens, Charleston Rd., Sierra Vista. In lieu of flowers, family requests donations be made to National Alliance on Mental Illness, Southeastern Arizona Chapter on Calle Portal in Sierra Vista.
