Tom Cardon Receives Word of Death of Mother in Logan

Mrs. Cardon was born Jun 19, 1887, in Logan, a daughter of Robert and Johnanna Nelson Murdock, and had lived there all her life. She had been active in church and social activities, having been president of the Alpha Chi Omega Mothers’ Club, secretary of the Cache L. D. S. Stake Relief Society, and Thomas K. Smith camp Daughters of Utah Pioneers, a member of the L. D. S Primary Stake Board, Logan L. D. S Fourth Ward old folk’s committee and an active member of the Parent-Teacher association.

Survivors, besides her son, Tom include her husband, Bartlie T. Cardon, the following son and daughters: R. Phillip Cardon, Mrs. J. K. Vanderhoff, Annette and Lou Jean Cardon of Logan, and Mrs. Carl A. Smith of Sugar City, Idaho; three grandchildren and four sisters, Mrs. Mae M. Jones of Long Beach, California, Mrs. E. P. Reid of Ogden, Mrs. Gilbert Cole and Mrs. Gladys Baugh of Logan.

Mr. and Mrs Cardon left immediately for Logan to attend the funeral services which were held Wednesday afternoon in the Logan L. D. S ward chapel.
