Wife of Raymond Cooper Cardon
Jeanne Pauline Cardon, 89 years old, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on June 12, 2011.
Jeanne was born on March 20, 1922 to John and Blanch Clark in Ness City, Kansas. She graduated from Ness City High School and attended Stevens Henager College in Ogden.
She married Raymond C. Cardon on August 26, 1944 in Ogden, Utah. Jeanne grew up on a farm with seven brothers and sisters. She was a natural athlete, excelling at tennis, bowling, track and golfing. She was full of life and very independent. She loved to watch sports, especially the Jazz and the NBA playoffs.
She was dearly loved by her family, nieces and nephews. She worked at a pharmacy, Ogden Transfer and Storage and for the USDA Forest Services.
Jeanne is survived by her children, Nancy (Duane) Watson, Randy Cardon, Kelly (Catherine) Cardon, Pattie Sue Cardon, her brother, Russ (Dora Lou) Clark, of Hayes, Kansas, 9 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, six brothers and sisters, her husband and one grandson, Matt Welker.
Funeral services were held Thursday, June 16, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Leavitt’s Mortuary, 836 36th Street, Ogden. Friends visited Wednesday, June 15, 2011 from 6-8 p.m. also at the mortuary. Interment Leavitt’s Aultorest Memorial Park.
