Jay Leon Miller, age 59, died March 8, 1991.
He was born September 17, 1931 in Murray, Utah to John Erwin and Alice Lyle Casper Miller. On Jan 30, 1934, he married Cynthia ”Cindy” Ann Turner in Las Vegas, Nevada. Jay was a Veteran of the Korean War, serving with the United States Marine Corp. An avid Little League Baseball fan, he also enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a member of the Utah ATV Club.
Survivors: wife, Cynthia ”Cindy” Miller, Midvale; children, John T. and wife, Leanna; Ann Naegelin and husband, Bob; Douglas J.; and Keely, all Midvale; grandchildren, Robert and Lisa Lund; Tricia and Nicole Miller; sisters, Mrs. Melvin (Margaret) Summerhays, Midvale; Joy Barnes, Salt Lake City; Mrs. LaVelle (Norma) Tripp, Midvale. Also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Graveside funeral services will be held Monday, March 11, 1991 at 11:00 a.m. in the Redwood Memorial Estates Cemetery, 6500 South Redwood Road. Friends may call at Goff Mortuary, 8090 So. State Sunday 6-8 p.m. and Monday from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m.
