KAYSVILLE – Janet Denise Haley Cardon, 37, of 620 S. 300 E., died Tuesday, March 8, 1988, at Humana Hospital Davis North of cancer.

She was born July 26, 1950, in Fresno, Calif., a daughter of Ralph and Fern Butler Haley.

She married Michael D. Cardon March 29, 1969, in the Oakland LDS Temple.

She was reared and educated in Fresno, Calif., graduating from Fresno High School. She moved to Kaysville in 1979.

She was an active member of the LDS Church and had served in the presidency of both the Primary and The Relief Society. Surviving are her husband of Kaysville; three sons and two daughters, Robert M. Cardon, Jeremy P. Cardon, Benjamin J. Cardon, Colleen Cardon, Tami Cardon, all of Kaysville.

Also surviving are her parents and one sister, Darla Haley, all of Fowler, Calif.; two brothers, Michael Haley, Madera, Calif.; Craig Haley, Davis, Calif.

Two daughters, Amanda and Elizabeth preceded her in death.

Funeral directors, Lindquist’s Kaysville mortuary.

Bishop W. Craig Morris officiated at funeral services March 11.

Family prayer was given by Jeffrey Cardon; prelude, Faye Offret; “I Am A Child of God” and “I am Like A Star” by Benjamin and Tami Cardon and Brian and Erin Carlisle accompanied by Debbie Carlisle; invocation, Jan Taylor; remarks, Bishop W. Craig Morris; eulogy, Craig Haley; speaker, Dorcas Caudill; “Lead Kindly Light” by Pamela Cardon Avery accompanied by Carol Avery; speaker, David Garner; “Families Can Be Together Forever” by Pamela Cardon Avery accompanied by Carol Avery; benediction, Denise Jarvis.

Dedication of the grave was by Doyle R. Cardon with interment in the Kaysville City Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Ralph Haley, Michael Haley, Craig Haley, Ray Ostler, Elmer Stokes, Jeffrey Cardon, Phillip Cardon and John L. Avery.
