Attack Fatal for Buhl Farmer, 59

BUHL, May 22 – James Jackson Alexander, 59, retired Buhl farmer, died of a heart attack at 11:30 p.m. Wednesday.

He was born in Vernal, Utah, Dec 20, 1887, and was married to Mabel Byrne at Evanston, Wyo., July 20, 1908. He came to Buhl in 1918 and farmed in the area until last fall when he retired and moved to Buhl.

Mr. Alexander is survived by his wife; six children: James Ray Alexander, Buhl; John K. Alexander, and Delbert Alexander, Castleford; Mrs. Mable Northrup, Hawthorne, Calif.; and Mrs. Catherine Stewart and Leslie Alexander, Buhl; 11 grandchildren and several brothers and sisters.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Buhl LDS church with Bishop William K. Potts officiating. Burial will be in Buhl cemetery under direction of the Albertson funeral home.
