Services Set
James Francis Pace, 81, a rancher and farmer in Hidago Valley, New Mexico for more than 50 years, died Saturday in a local hospital.
Born in Thatcher, Ariz., he served in the Navy during World War I. He moved to Santa Cruz six years ago.
Surviving are two sons, Dr. William Pace of Soquel, and Dr. James Pace of Davis; a daughter, Mrs. Rhoda Smith of Tremonton, Utah; to brothers, Hyrum Pace of Virden, N.M., and G. I. Pace of Duncan, Ariz.; three sisters Mrs. Josephine Foster of Duncan, Mrs Ruth Houlihan of Safford, Ariz., and Mrs. Dora Bradshaw of Virden; and by 14 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at Caldwell Funeral Home in Safford, Ariz. on Wednesday. Norman’s Family chapel is in charge of local arrangements.
Interment will be in Virden Cemetery, Virden, N.M.
