BENSON, Cache County — Hyrum Michael Cardon, 89, died in a Logan hospital Monday of causes incident to age. Born in Logan, Aug. 16, 1873, a son of John Paul and Magdalene Beus Cardon. Married Isabelle Roundy April 8, 1909, Salt Lake Temple, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Active in LDS Church.
Survivors: six sons and daughters; Mrs. Russel R. (Margaret) Rich and Mrs. Samuel G. (Nada) Stevenson, Orem; Doyle R., Fresno, Calif.; Mrs. Lorin J. (Neva) Hawkes, Bountiful; Kenneth R. and Wayne R., Benson; three sisters: Amanda Ricks, Smithfield; Violet Walker, Glendale, Calif., and Katie Jensen and a half-brother, Moses G. Cardon, both of Ogden. Funeral Friday noon in the Benson LDS Ward Chapel. Friends may call at the Hall Mortuary, Logan, Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. and at the family home in Benson Friday after 10 a.m. Burial, Logan City Cemetery.
