POCATELLO, IDAHO – Howard William Ruchti, 40, 742 Poole Ave., Alemeda, a yardmaster for the Union Pacific Railroad, died Saturday in his home. Born March 29, 1914, at Logan, he resided at Pocatello 34 years. He married Theda Cochran, Nov. 1, 1940, at Nampa.

Surviving, widow; sons, Don and Layne Lee; daughter, Beckey; his mother, Mrs. Beryl Cardon Ruchti, Fullerton, Calif.; two brothers and five sisters.

Funeral Wednesday 2 p.m., in Fifth Ward LDS chapel with L. R. Sorenson, bishop of the 22nd Ward officiating. Burial in Mountainview Cemetery.
