Helen R. Burnham, age 75, passed away August 2, 1995 at her home in Salt Lake City.

Helen was born July 3, 1920 in Twin Falls, Idaho. She married Ray Stout Burnham on July 3, 1940 in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Ray preceded her in death on July 22, 1995.

Helen grew up and attended school in Pocatello, Idaho. She intermittently worked outside the home and raised her family in Los Angeles California, Pocatello, Idaho, and Salt Lake City.

Helen was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease in 1986. She struggled against Parkinson’s with the same quiet dignity that affected her life and her family’s lives.

Survived by two children, Connie Ray (Ronald) Martin of Pocatello, Idaho; and G. Cardon (Cindy) Burnham of Salt Lake City, Utah; brothers and sisters. Arthur (Beverley) Ruchti of St. George, Utah; Cardon (Ona) Ruchti of New Hampshire; Norma (Carl) Wheatley of Mesa, Arizona; Kelly Engberson of Elsinore, California; Jean Petrell of Mesa, Arizona; and Marie Bronson of Pocatello Idaho; six grandchildren, Ronald, Wendy, Debra and Michael Shawn of Pocatello, Idaho; Rebecca Ann and Kenneth of Salt Lake City, Utah. Also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Burnham on December 20, 1980.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, August 12, 1995, 11 a.m. at the Larkin Sunset Lawn Mortuary, 2350 East 1300 South.
