SULLIVAN, H. Clair Cardon 98; died June 26, 1995 in Heber, Utah. A graveside memorial service was held July 10 in Logan, Utah. Claire was interred in the Cardon Family plots beside her beloved husband Col. Alexander Sullivan and alongside her dear mother, father, brothers, sisters, and grandparents.
In California she was a resident of Hancock Park and denizen of Larchmont shopping for over 40 years. Her hobbies were still life painting and gardening. She co-founded Girl Scout Troop #344 at Third St. Elementary School where she also served as Cub Scout Den Mother. She left for Utah 18 years ago to maintain a home near her son, Michael and his wife, Rose Marie ‘Romy’ Sullivan who became her caretaker and best buddy. Daughters, Jean Sullivan of New York City, New York, Anne Stewart of Milano, Italy, and Maggi McHugh of Arcadia, California travelled to attend the services. She leaves grandchildren, Francesca Poston, Cecily Ray, Roger Stewart, and Patrick Sullivan, and two great-grandchildren, Esha Ray and Simone Stewart.
