Harold ‘Ras’ Byrne

FORT BRIDGER – Services for Harold "Ras" Byrne, 64, of Robertson, Wyo., will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at the Fort Bridger American Legion Hall.

Mr. Byrne died on Feb. 17, 1989, in Robertson. He was born on March 3, 1924, in Robertson to Robert Charles and Leone (Robbins) Byrne.

Mr. Byrne was a rancher most of his life. He was a World War II U.S. Army veteran and was a member of the American Legion.

Survivors include his mother, Leone Byrne of Evanston; three brothers, Samuel of Ione, Oregon, Charles of Mountain View, and George of Robertson; and two sisters, Mrs. Dwight (Mary Louise) Walker of Lyman and Mrs. Richard (Carol) Hamilton of Fort Bridger.

Friends my call at the American Legion Hall one hour prior to service time. Burial will be in the Fort Bridger Cemetery under the direction of the Crandall Funeral Home of Evanston.
