Harold E. Stettler

SUNSET – Harold E. Stettler, 49, of 2548 N. 300 W., died today, June 11, 1977, at the McKay-Dee Hospital following an extended illness.
He was born Sept. 25, 1927, in Coalville, a son of Albert and Ethel Bayley Stettler.
He married Ilene Napier on Oct. 30, 1953, in Coalville. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
He had lived in Ogden and in Sunset the last 16 years. He was former owner and manager of Standard Electric Company in Ogden. A the time of his death he was manager of the furniture and carpet department of ZCMI in Ogden.
He was former member of the Elders Quorum presidency, Sunday School teacher, Scout master and Cub master in the Sunset 5th Ward. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the Coast Guard.
Surviving are his widow and the followings sons and daughters: Timothy H. Stettler, Jeffery D. Stettler, Michael A. Stettler, Susan Stettler, all of Sunset; Mrs. Irvin R. (Jane) Hansen, Ogden; one grandchild; five brothers and one sister, Albert B. Stettler and Lawrence B. Stettler, both of Caldwell, Idaho; S. Leroy Stettler, Kaysville; George W. Stettler, Roy; William D. Stettler, Ogden; Mrs. Dean E. (Elaine) Beus, Kuna, Idaho.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. in the Sunset 5th Ward chapel with Bishop James D. Bridges officiating. Friends may call at Larkin and Sons Mortuary in Ogden Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. and at the Sunset Ward chapel Tuesday from 12 noon until services. Burial will be in Washington Heights Memorial Park.
