Dean Cardon, 90,  passed away peacefully on July 9, 2011 at his home in Salt Lake City.   Dean was born on October 21st, 1920 in Logan, Utah.   He grew up in Ogden and was a proud member of the first graduating class at Ogden High School.   Dean served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.   He was the owner of Cardon Land Title Company and worked there for nearly fifty years.    Dean was an extraordinarily kind and gentle man and will be missed by everyone who knew him.  Dean is preceded in death by his five sisters, Winona, Beth, Dorthy, Marie, and Ardell, and by his brother Carlos.   Dean is survived by Faye, his beloved wife of 58 years.    He is also survived by his two sons, David Dean Cardon of St. George and Jeffrey (Helen Hemingway) Stewart Cardon of Salt Lake City.  Dean was the proud Grandfather of Kate Cardon, Megan Packer, April Jones, George Cardon, Madeline Cardon, and Charles Cardon.    Special people in his life were his “adopted” daughter, Helen Cardon, and “sons” Mark Webber and Shawn Ferrin.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday, July 13, 2011 at 11:00 am at Larkin Sunset Lawn Mortuary, 2350 East 1300 South, where a visitation was held from 9:45-10:45 prior to the services.  Interment followed the services at the same location.
