LYMAN – Services for Frank Lewis Thomas Sr., 74 of Lyman, will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Lyman LDS Stake Center in Urie, with Bishop Robert Baird officiating. Burial will be in Fort Bridger Cemetery.

Mr. Thomas, who died Saturday in Evanston, was born March 8, 1912, in Mountain View to Will H. and Emma Cross Thomas.

He married Dorotha Bracken in 1941 in Evanston. The marriage was later solemnized in the LDS temple in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Mr. Thomas worked for many years as a livestock dealer and was a World War II veteran.

He was a member of the LDS Church.

Survivors include his widow of Lyman; one son, Frank (Tom) Thomas of Kemmerer; three daughters, Mrs. Ashby (Susan) Tippets of Lyman, Mrs. Ralph B. (Mary Ann) Peterson of Mountain View and Mrs. Blain (Sarah) Hope of Moses Lake, Wash; one brother, Charles Thomas of Salmon, Idaho; one sister, Mrs Henry (Mary) Dahlquist of Pocatello, Idaho; and 18 grandchildren.

Friends may call at the stake center one hour before services. Funeral arrangements are by Crandall Funeral Home of Evanston.
