Flora Jean Taylor Cardon Lupo, “Nana”, age 88, passed away peacefully in her home on November 30, 2017. 

Flora was born in Mexico to Loren Taylor and Lillian Hatch. Flora married Donald Clair Cardon, Sr. in 1949. After Don’s death in 1960, she married John Mell Lupo in 1965. 

She is survived by her children Vickie Brown (Charlie), Hettie Houghton (Ted), Dean Cardon (Lori), Frances Lowder (Steve), and Denise Fullmer (Todd); brothers Jerald Taylor, Elwood Taylor, Berkley Lunt, Gary Lunt; and sisters LaRee Shaw, Sylvia Heywood, and LuDean Cardon. She was preceded in death by her parents Loren Taylor and Lillian Hatch, her first husband Donald Cardon, Sr., son Donald Cardon, Jr., second husband John Lupo and grandson Kenneth Brown. Public Viewing will be held Thursday, December 7, 2017, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Sunset Funeral Home East, 750 N. Carolina. Services for Flora Lupo will be held on Friday, December 8, 2017, at 11:30 AM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints located at 1212 Sumac. Burial will follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery at 01:30 PM in El Paso, Texas.
