Ernest William Cardon, 76, 665 E. 1st South, died Friday, 8 a.m., at the home of a daughter in Denver, Colo., after a heart attack. Born Aug. 26, 1882, Logan, to Paul and Amanda Beus Cardon. Married Annie Marshall in 1912, later solemnized Salt Lake Temple, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, She died an. 27, 1956. Retired painter and rancher. Member Thirteenth LDS Ward. Survivors: Four sons, four daughters, Paul M. Escalante; Allan O., Chicago; Roy E., San Francisco; Rowland B., U.S. Navy; Mrs. Joice Ludwig, Concord. Calif.; Mrs Audrey Proctor, Denver; Mrs. Zella Catanzariti and Mrs. Melba Clements, both Salt Lake City; 23 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one brother and three sisters. Funeral Monday, 2 p.m., 36 E 7th South, where friends may call Sunday 6-8 p.m., Monday prior. Burial, Salt Lake City Cemetery.
