GAMBLE — Requiem mass services for Emma Gamble, 77, widow of Daniel Gamble, retired Union Pacific agent at Peterson, Utah, and mother of Lester, Daniel, James and Mrs. D. O. Williams, will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Joseph’s Catholic church, Monsignor W. J. Giroux officiating. Recital of the rosary will be held at Lindquist and Sons Colonial funeral chapel Monday at 8 p. m. Viewing at same time. Interment Ogden city cemetery, directed by Lindquist and Sons.

Emma Guild Gamble
MORGAN–Mrs. Emma Guild Gamble, 77, local resident, died Friday at one fifteen p. m. at the home of a daughter, Mrs. D. O. Williams, here, following an extended illness.
She was born in Piedmont, Wyo., September 27, 1868, a daughter of Charles and Magdaline Cardon Guild. On September 27, 1887, she was married to Daniel Gamble at Piedmont. He died in 1936.
For 30 years, Mrs. Gamble serviced as station agent for the Union Pacific Railroad company at Peterson, and was a member of the auxiliary of the U. P. Old-Timer’s club. She was a convert to the Catholic church.
Surviving are the following sons and daughters: Lester R. Gamble, Spokane, Wash.; Daniel G. Gamble, Ogden, and James F. Gamble and Mrs. D. O. Williams, Morgan; 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
The body is at the mortuary, 3408 Washing, Ogden.

EMMA GAMBLE RITES HELD ON TUESDAY
Requiem mass for Mrs Emma Guild Gamble, 77, was said Tuesday morning at St. Joseph’s Catholic church in Ogden by Msgr. W J. Giroux. The rosary was recited Monday at an Ogden chapel. Mrs. Gamble died last Friday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. D. O. Williams of Morgan, following an extended illness.
