MESA – Mrs. Ellen C. Cardon, 89, died yesterday in her home at 52 1/2 S. LeSueur St. following a long illness.
Survivors include a son, Louis S. of Pueblo, Colo.; four daughters, Mrs. Lucille C. Matthews of Live Oak, Calif.; Mrs. Katie C. Webb of Pueblo; Mrs Gretta C. Larson of Silver City, N. M.; and Mrs. Isabella Hunt of Mesa; and 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren
Services are pending in Mesa.

Ex-Tucson Principal Dies at Mesa Home
Mrs. Ellen C. Cardon, 89, former principal of Binghampton school in Tucson, died yesterday at her home in Mesa after a long illness.
A native of Fairview, Utah, she moved to Arizona from that city in 1912. Mrs. Cardon was active in the Latter Day Saints church and at one time worked in the Arizona temple in Mesa.
She is survived by four daughters and a son. One daughtere, Mrs. Isabelle Hunt, lives in Mesa.

Mrs. Ellen C. Cardon, 89, former principal of Binghampton shcool in Tucson, died yesterday at her home in Mesa after a long illness.
