Earl William Bronson, 83, of 153 N. 9th, died Saturday at his home following an illness.

He was born March 27, 1890 near Belmond, Iowa, the son of Samuel W. and Frances Sheriff Bronson.

In 1936 he and his wife, Marie, were married in Idaho Falls.

Mr. Bronson was in the French Army a number of years. In 1911 he served in Mexico and about 1913 was a surgeon with the army in Algeria. All his life he had been in the medical field, and for the bast 40 years was a naturopath. 

For seven years, Mr. Bronson lived in Great Falls, Mont. He then made his home at Lava Hot Springs four years before coming to Pocatello 38 years ago.

Survivors include his widow of Pocatello; two daughters, Mrs. Don (Joanna) Worsencroft, Guam and Mrs. James (Caroline) Rohweder of Long Beach, Calif.; three grandchildren; and a brother, Arthur Bronson of Rathdrum, Idaho. Two sisters and two brothers preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in Manning Funeral Chapel with burial in Mountainview Cemetery, Friends may call at Manning Funeral Chapel until funeral time.
