OGDEN – Earl Edward Lee, 78, Ogden, died of a heart attack Dec. 14, 1974, at home.

Born Sept. 2, 1896, Ogden, to Thomas and Elizabeth Butterworth Lee. Married Bertha Mary Shaw May 26, 1920, Salt Lake LDS Temple. Employe, Shupe-Williams Candy Co.; machinist, draftsman, Southern Pacific Railroad Co.; Army Transportaion Corps, Hill Air Force Base, retired 1965.

Survivors: wife; son, daughters, Earl S., North Ogden; Mrs. Challis A. (Vera) Caldwell, Pocatello, Idaho; Mrs. Willis C. (Virginia) Petersen, Elwood, Box Elder County; 12 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren; sister, Mrs. George (Beatrice) Bell, Ogden.

Funeral Wednesday 11 a.m., Lindquist and Sons Mortuary, Ogden, where friends call Tuesday 7-9 p.m., Wednesday before services. Burial, Ogden City Cemetery.
