Donna Marie Cardon died Monday May 27, 2024. She was born December 10th, 1929, in Vancouver, Washington to Howard Hall and Viola Stewart. Donna grew up in Vancouver and was student body class Vice President, graduating from Vancouver High School in 1948.
Donna married Lon “Bob” Cardon June 16th, 1950. They had two daughters and enjoyed taking family camping trips, golfing, and bowling. Donna was a loving mother and grandmother. She also enjoyed crocheting and made blankets, tablecloths, and doilies for the family. Her grandkids loved her jar of jellybeans. Bob and Donna also enjoyed the beach and built a home in Ocean Shores, Washington.
Donna was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. In 1998, they moved to Stanfield, OR where they made many wonderful friends.
Donna is survived by two daughters: Valaree (Gary) Adams and Sandie (Lu) Morse, five grandchildren Heather Gurney, Chad Gurney, Cari (Aaron) Olsen, Aaron (Nichole) Adams, and Ashley (Kevin) Paice, 20 great-grandchildren, and several great-great grandchildren.
A viewing was held June 14, 2024, 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. at Evergreen Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 1101 N.E. 112th Avenue, Vancouver, WA, 98684. A celebration of life was held June 15th, 2024, 1:00 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 10509 SE 5th Street, Vancouver, WA, 98683. Graveside services were held June 15th, 2024, at Evergreen Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 1101 NE 112th Avenue, Vancouver, WA 98684.
