MARICOPA, Ariz. – Dennis Alvin Barker, 65, passed away Sunday, January 20, 2008, in Maricopa, Arizona.
He was born July 12, 1942 in Los Angeles, California, a son of Alvin Grant and Mary Ellen Byrne Barker. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving with the U.S. Army Special Forces.
Dennis loved the Lord and he loved people.
Surviving are two daughters, Amanda Barker and Suzanne (Michael) L. Martinez, and four grandchildren.
Graveside services were held at Lindquist’s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road Saturday at 3 p.m. with friends calling before from 1:30 to 2:30 pm at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
