EVANSTON – Services for Delmar David Dean, 88, of Evanston will be 1 p.m. Saturday at the Crandall Funeral Houme.
Mr. Dean died Aug 13, 1986, at his home. Born Feb. 16, 1898, in Woodruff, Utah, he was the son of David C. and Mary (Cox) Dean.
On June 23, 1924, he married Mary Guild in Mountain View, Wyo.
Mr. Dean worked as a rancher most of his life and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He served a mission for the church in the eastern United States.
Survivors include his widow of Evanston; two daughters, Mrs. Harold (Veda) Byrne of Evanston and Mrs. Bruce (Anna Lou) Nelson of Mt. Lake Terrace, Wash.; one son, Roy Dean, Seattle, Wash.; two sisters, Rea Marrow of Evanston and Jeannie Anderson of Salt Lake City, Utah; nine grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Evanston City Cemetery.
