David Cardon Clegg, 99, of Plantation, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 25, 2014. He was a native of Ogden, Utah, the son of William Daniel and Edna Mae Clegg.
A 1937 graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, David’s forty-year career with General Telephone Company took him through Latin America and Italy installing communication systems and doing international business.
David is survived by his four loving daughters, Lilly, Carol, Kathy, and Chris; eight grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
Friends may visit between 4:00PM-6:00PM, Sunday, March 30th, at T.M. Ralph Plantation Funeral Home. A celebration of Dave’s life will be held at Covenant Village Chapel, 9215 W. Broward Blvd, Plantation, FL 33324, Monday, March 31st at 2:00PM, with a reception after.
