Danny Kay Beckstead passed away on Wednesday, October 13, 2021, in a car accident in Wyoming.
He was born March 15, 1948, in Preston Idaho to Elmo G. Beckstead and Elda Long. He was the youngest of four children. Danny attended and graduated from Preston High School. He later married Lynda Merrill Burbank on December 2nd, 1972.
At the time of his death, he was working for J&J Garcia Transport.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a grandson, Wesley Wagner.
He leaves behind his wife Lynda and three sons, Mike, Shane, Corey, and their families, his brother Gordon and spouse Marileen Beckstead, two sisters, DiAnn and spouse Larin Bodily and JoAnn Jardine, 19 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren..
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Wednesday, October 20, 2021, at the Franklin County Funeral Home, Preston, Idaho.
There will be a visitation on Tuesday, October 19, 2021, from 6 to 8 p.m. and again on Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:45 prior to the funeral services.
Interment will follow in the Preston Cemetery.
