DANIEL GAMBLE HEART VICTIM

Daniel Guild Gamble, 68, former resident of Peterson was dead on arrival Monday at the Dee Hospital following a heart attack.

He was born March 22, 1900, in Ogden, a son of Daniel and Emma Guild Gamble.

He was married to Pearl Snowball Sept. 30, 1923, in Randolph, Utah.

He had resided in Ogden the past 23 years and was a conductor for the Union Pacific Railroad Co., retiring in 1968.

He was a member of the Brotherhood of Railway Trainmen and the LDS 38th Ward.

His wife was active in Relief Society in the Peterson Ward and a member of the Peterson Quilting Club. Mrs. Gamble has many friends in Morgan County as did Mr. Gamble.

Surviving are his widow, one son, one daughter, LeRoy Gamble, Mrs. Ralph (Emma Lou) Stagge; both of Ogden; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two brothers, Lester Gamble, Spokane, Wash; and James Gamble, Morgan.

Funeral services were held Thursday at 3 p.m. in Lindquist and Sons Colonial Chapel with Bishop John V. Drimmelen of the 38th Ward officiating.

Burial in the Ogden City Cemetery.
