Corabelle ‘Corrie’ Byrne Davis
FORT BRIDGER – Services for Corabelle “Corrie” Byrne Davis, 69, will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Fort Bridger American Legion Hall. Interment will be in Fort Bridger Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Crandall Funeral Home in Evanston and at the Legion Hall one hour prior to services.
She died July 2, 1999,in Mountain View. She was born March 30, 1930 in Evanston, the daughter of C. Leslie and Isabelle (Johnson) Byrne. She was raised on the family ranch in Piedmont and graduated from Evanston High School in 1948. She attended the University of Wyoming for one year.
On March 14, 1952, she married Brent Davis in Evanston. She had been employed at the Wyoming State Hospital and Benedict’s Trading.
Survivors include her husband of Mountain View; five sons, Michael Davis and his wife of Evanston, Craig Davis and his companion of Mountain View, Ron Davis and his wife of Seattle, Todd Davis of Mountain View and Brett Davis and his wife of Mount Angel, Ore.; a sister, Ida Bullock of Hemet, Calif; and 14 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and a grandson.
