Clarence P. Cardon, 64, former Salt Lake resident, died Wednesday at his residence in Pasadena, California, after a brief illness. 

Cardon was born November 11, 1881, in Idaho, a son of Emanuel P. and Amelia Cardon. He married Verde Pratt Oct. 1, 1909, in the Salt Lake L D S Temple. He had been an active L D S church worker, filling a mission to Germany and France from 1910 to 1912. 

While a resident of Salt Lake City he was active in L D S church work. After moving to Logan he became mananger of Logan Knitting Mills, a position he held until he moved to California 16 years ago.

Funeral services will be held Saturday in Pasadena.
