C. Leslie Byrne, 84, of 510 Road 30, a retired rancher and a resident of Grand Junction for two years, died at 7:10 a.m. today at St. Mary’s Hospital following an illness of more than two years.
Mr. Byrne was born July 26, 1885, at Piedmont, Wyo. He spent his childhood in Peidmont and was married at Evanston, Wyo., on June 14, 1915, to Alice Isabelle Johnson. The couple lived at Evanston until 1967 when they moved to Grand Junction.
He was a member of the LDS Church.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Allen of Grand Junction; two daughters, Mrs. Ida Bullock of Helena, Mont., and Mrs. Cora Belle Davis of Evanston; a brother, a sister, 18 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
