UINTAH – Mrs. Clara K. Fernelius Wright, 77, of 2105 E. 6600 S., died this morning of heart failure in St. Benedict’s Hospital in Ogden.

Mrs. Wright was born May 25, 1898, in Uintah, a daughter of Fred and Minnie Byrne Kendell.

She was reared and educated in Uintah.

On Sept. 17, 1919, she was married to James W. Fernelius in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died May 1, 1954. She was married to Ralph C. Wright on Nov. 18, 1954, in Salt Lake City. He died April 25, 1960.

She was a member of the Uintah 1st LDS Ward and had been active in all church auxiliaries. She had been Relief Society president, served in the MIA Presidency and was a visiting teacher. She was active in the special interest group.

Surviving are two sons and two daughters, James R. Fernelius, Mrs. Neil (Alice) Thompson, both of Uintah; Douglas K. Fernelius, Mrs. Ellis (Ann) Bingham, both of Ogden; one stepson, Dr. E. G. Wright, Riverton, Utah; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.

Also surviving are two brothers and one sister, Albert F. Kendell, Uintah; Francis R. Kendell, Martinez, Calif.; Mrs. Etta K. Fernelius, Ogden.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 1 p.m. in the Chapel of Flowers Mortuary with Bishop Bert W. Winterton of the Uintah 1st Ward officiating.

Friends may call at the mortuary Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 12 noon to 1 p.m. Interment in the Uintah City Cemetery.

Clara K. Fernelius Wright, 77, of Unitah, Utah died Thursday Morning in the St. Benedict Hospital of heart failure.

Born May 25, 1898, in Unitah, Utah, daughter of Fred and Minnie Byrne Kendell. On September 17, 1919, married James W. Fernelius in the Salt Lake Temple. H died 1954. Married Ralph C. Wright, November 18, 1954, in Salt Lake. He died 1960. Unitah First Ward active church worker.

Survived by 2 sons, 2 daughters; James R. Fernelius and Mrs. Neil (Alice) Thompson both of Unitah; Douglas K. Fernelius and Mrs. Ellis (Ann) Bingham both of Ogden and a stepson, Dr. E. G. Wright of Riverton, Utah. 8 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 2 brothers and 1 sister; Albert F. Kendell of Unitah, Francis R. Kendell of Martinez, Calif. and Mrs. Etta K. Fernelius of Ogden.
