Deceased Name: Carl Anderson

After 13 years of separation, Carl Anderson, our beloved father and grandfather, reunited with his eternal companion, Ruth Anderson, in the courts of our Heavenly Father on Thursday, May 12th of an illness incident to his age of 85 when headquarters called him home.

Carl was born on May 22, 1919, to Norman and Gretta Anderson in Uintah.

He was raised and educated in Weber County and attended both Weber College and USU where he studied auto and airplane mechanics. However, his studies were interrupted in 1942 when he answered the call of his country to serve in the Army Air Corp in WWII, which he did honorably. After the war he served a mission to both the Norwegian and New England missions. Upon returning home he was sealed to Ruth Viola Fullmer, directly following they moved to Tucson, AZ, where he worked as a flight instructor for the Air Corp. In addition, to his service in the Air Corp he has successfully owned and operated two custom body truck businesses and ended his professional career working for UDOT.

Throughout his professional experiences Carl has made numerous friends all over the country which have been touched by his constant desire to serve others.

Carl was an active and faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He served dutifully in all the callings and assignments given to him.

Carl will be remembered for his diligence in always giving service to those of his community, including the boy scouts; also for the love that his father instilled in him of the outdoors, hard work, and farming. Carl had much success in his life from his love of designing and building things and has left his unique mark in the hearts of all those of whom he has come in contact.

He is survived by his two sons Carl Norman Jr. (Penny) and Clyde, his daughter Jean, and his adopted son Tony Tsosie.

Also surviving, are his two sisters Phyllis Dolin and Inez Fife, his six grandchildren Destinee, Carl III (Ericka), Casey, Brandon, Jared, and Ellie, and two great-grandchildren Carl IV and Emma Ruth.

Funeral services will be held on Monday at noon at the Uintah 1st Ward Chapel, 6650 S. 1775 E., Uintah.
