SAFFORD – Services for Calvert A. Allred, 80, who died Saturday in the Morenci Hospital, will be at 4 p.m. tomorrow in the Safford Fourth Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Burial will be in the Thatcher Cemetery.

Mr. Allred, who was born in Mexico, was a retired custodian for the Safford public schools. He came to the United States in 1914 and to Safford in 1951.

Survivors include five sons, Calvert Jr. of Port Huron, Mich., J. Grant of Safford, Golden M. of Mesa, Max J. of Clifton and Rex K of Las Vegas, Nev.; three daughters Mrs. Lorrine Eubanks, Safford, Mrs. Marie Carpenter, Aztec, N.M., and Mrs Geraldine Nielsen of Phoenix; two borthers, Milford J. and Reed, both of Mesa; three sisters, mrs. Thora Foot of Solomon and the other two out of state; and 21 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. to service time tomorrow at the Safford Funeral Home.
