GALLUP – Funeral services for Bruce Richards, 8, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lee Richards of San Rafael, who died Monday at St. Mary’s hospital here from injuries suffered when he slipped and fell into the path of a school bus at Grants, were held Wednesday afternoon at 2 p.m. at the Latter Day Saints Church in Gallup. Burial was in Hillcrest cemetery. Arrangements were in charge of the Rollie Mortuary. The boy was the first child in the state to die in an accident involving a school bus sice 1946.
