Bonnie Jean Conk Johnson

Bonnie Jean Conk Johnson, 85, passed away on September 21, 2011 in Delta.

Born to Henry Pervine and Rosa Vilate Cardon Conk in Deseret, UT on May 20, 1926.

Married Ward Johnson, the love of her life, on December 28, 1943. They lived in Delta, enjoying sixty-five wonderful years together. He died June 18, 2008.

Bonnie retired from the telephone company in 1984. Favorite past times included crocheting, card making, quilting, sewing, watching the baby calves; but her favorite was spending time and money on her family.

Survived by sons: Doug (Jane), Keith, Dennis (Peggy), all of Delta; daughters: Lynda (Richard) Hopkins, Eagle Mountain; Jewly (Murray) Harris, West Jordan; thirty-three grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; sister: Sandra (Skip) Kemp; brother: Donny (Glenda) Conk; step-mother: Elna Edwards Oliver; brothers: John, George, and Steven; step-brothers: Ross and Robert Conk. Preceded in death by children: Roger and Joyce; brother: Leo Henry Conk.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 24, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in the Hinckley LDS Church, 188 North Main Street. A viewing will be held on Friday from 7:00-8:00 p.m. at Nickle Mortuary, 190 South Center Street, Delta, and Saturday morning at the church from 9:30-10:40 a.m.
Burial: Holden, UT Cemetery.
