Bobby Gene Mayn died December 14, 2016 at the age of 79. He was born September 15, 1937 in Durango, Colorado. He served in the U.S. Air Force and graduated from California Polytechnic University in Pomona, CA.

Bobby worked as an Electronic Engineer in the Bay Area and moved to North Fork when he retired 19 years ago. In North Fork he taught Line Dancing at Town Hall and coached Mountain League Soccer and Minarets High School soccer.

He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence W. Mayn; mother Mable O’Neil; brother Floyd Frame; and sister Faye Gallup, all from Nevada; as well as his grandson Dalton Mayn.

Bobby is survived by his wife JoAnne; son Steve and wife Tracy of Coarsegold; son Kevin Mayn of North Fork; daughter Rebecca and husband Bart Zahourek of Coarsegold; sisters Shirley Oliver of Reno, Nevada, and Bonnie Stewart of Carson City, Nevada; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m., on Saturday, Jan. 7, in the L.D.S. Chapel on School Road in Oakhurst.

In lieu of flowers, Remembrances can be sent in his name to the Amyloidosis Foundation, 7151 N. Main St., Suite 2, Clarkston, MI 48346.
