Blaine Cardon resident of Puyallup, peacefully passed away at his home on April 15th, 1999, at the age of 80 years. He was born to Eva (Wadsworth) and Ernest Cardon in Ogden, Utah on February 13th, 1919, and moved to Puyallup in 1966. He was a Professional Salesman and a member of the Peace Lutheran Church of Puyallup and the Fraternal Order of Eagles Lodge, Daffodil Aerie #2308 of Puyallup.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers. He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years: Dorothy (Gallagher) Cardon of Puyallup. Brothers; William (Geri) Cardon of Missoula, MT and John (Evelynne) Cardon of St. George, UT. Sisters: Carrie *Wayne) Rose of Ogden, UT and Marie (Roy) Edmison of Sidney, BC. Daughter; Carlene Hardy of Glendale, AZ, Son; Rick Cardon of Phoenix, AZ. Grandchildren: Rick Cardon, Nick Hardy and Angela (Brandon) Brooks. Locally are stepchildren: Terry Smith of Anacortes, Dolly Smith of Puyallup and Valerie (Dan) Hannah of browns Point. Step-grandchildren: Damian Smith, Julian (Chris) Smith, Tony Hardesty, Heidi Hardesty, Andrew Hardesty and a very special granddaughter who was truly the sunshine of his life, Melody Hardesty. Also, one great-grandson, Spencer Smith.
Viewing will be held on Monday, April 19th, from 12:00 Noon to 8:00 P.M. at Hills Funeral Home in Puyallup. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, April 20th, 1999, at 1:00 P.M. at Peace Lutheran Church. Services will be celebrated by the Rev. Ronald E. Kempe, Paston. Interment will be at Woodbine Cemetery in Puyallup. Remembrances may be made to Peace Lutheran Church 214 Pioneer Ave., Puyallup, WA 98372.
