Beth Cardon Dean age 86, died April 17, 1999 in Bountiful, Utah after a 50-year battle with Multiple Sclerosis.

She was born in Logan, Utah on Sept. 29, 1912, to Louis L. and Ada Pierce Cardon. 

Beth was always a hard worker and ambitious. She loved music and became an accomplished pianist and taught piano for many years. She studied at the LDS Business College and become an executive secretary. 

She married Warren H. Dean March 22, 1935 in the Logan Utah LDS Temple. They made their home in several places including, Pullman Wash, Manilla, Beaver, Green River and Bountiful, Utah. 

She served many years in various positions in the LDS Church as a teacher, pianist and ward missionary. Warren died in 1957 after which she finished raising her children, working to support them and herself for many years. She was employed by LDS hospital and the State of Utah. 

After retirement she attained a Bachelors degree at the University of Utah, a life long ambition.

She is survived by her children: James (Helen), Donald (Janice), Louise Hansen (Darl), and Julie Watanabe (Dan); her sisters and brother, Faye Starr, Margaret Pyrek and Lee Cardon, 18 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Her sister Caroline Bickmore preceded her in death. 

Services will be held, April 24, 11 a.m. at Russon Brothers Mortuary in Bountiful at 295 North Main. A viewing will be held on the Saturday, April 24th from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m.
