Elwood — Bertha Mary Shaw Lee, 96, died Thursday, November 19, 1992, at the home of her son in North Ogden.
She was born January 23, 1896 in Ogden, a daughter of Myrtillo, Jr. and Anna Hermina Cardon Shaw.
She married Earl Edward Lee on May 26, 1920 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died December 14, 1974.
Mrs. Lee was reared and educated in Ogden and resided there until 1977 when she moved to Elwood.
Prior to her marriage, she was employed with Shupe Willims Candy Co., where she met her future husband.
She was an active member of the LDS Church.
Surviving are two daughters and one son and their spouses: Vera and Callis A. Caldwell, of Pocatello; Virginia and Willis Petersen, of Elwood; Earl S. and Carolyn Lee, of North Ogden; 13 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. Preceding her in death were one grandchild, two great-grandchildren, three sisters, and three brothers.
Funeral services were held Monday, November 23 at the Tremonton South Stake Center, with Bishop Shigeki Moriyama officiating.
Burial was in the Ogden City Cemetery.
