In October 2007 she was invited to live in Montana with her son, Clyde, where she went camping, watched Glen Beck, taught painting and art classes to grandchildren. She enjoyed watching wildlife out her many windows. She loved spending time with her son until his passing in December 2011, which broke her heart.
