Wife of Udell Wilson Cardon
Anna May Cardon passed away peacefully at her residence in Rio Rancho, New Mexico on December 16th 2015. Anna May was born the third of four children on May 2nd 1924 in Tiffany Colorado. She lived most of her life with her family and Husband Udell in Ignacio Colorado. On retirement, they lived in Victorville, California for many years.
Anna May studied at a Denver Business College and worked as an accountant for banks in Durango and Ignacio and for the Wiseman Hardware store in Ignacio. She also volunteered financial services at local community centers.
Anna May and Udell were very active in their community, serving as Democratic Precinct Chairs, Board members of the Pine River TV Association, scout leaders, school PTA members, and providing personal care and service to neighbors and friends. Anna May was also active in her church, serving in many capacities. Anna May enjoyed quilting, baking and decorating wedding cakes, loved playing cards, and was an avid walker.
Anna May was preceeded in life by her husband Udell, son Carl, and brother Emanual Carlson. She is survived by her children; Georgia Lucero, Joanne Whyte, and Jay and their 17 children and grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Emma Shock and brother John Carlson.
Anna May will be remembered by her family and friends for her hard work, caring and loving service, and for her sense of humor.

Services were held on Saturday, December 19, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints – 325 East Avenida, Bernalillo, NM 87004. Interment for Anna May was held on Tuesday, December 22, 2015, at Desert View Memorial Park in Victorville, California.
