Vows in
Washington
Miss Anna Leigh Burningham and Mr. Blaine Layton Bohne exchanged wedding vows on October 11, 1969, in the LDS Stake House at Moses Lake, Washington, Bishop DeMar Duvall officiated at the double ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mrs. B. R. Bunnell of Vernon. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Bohne, of Moses Lake, Washington.
THE BRIDE wore a beautifully designed empire-waisted dress of traditional white lace over satin, trimmed with a scalloped neck made of lace roses with hand-sewn seed pearls to enhance the beauty of her dress. The chapel-train fell from her shoulders and was caught by a large satin bow at the empire waist. A shoulder length veil of brides-illusion was released from a jeweled tiara. She carried a bouquet of white carnations with a corsage of yellow-orange rose buds in the center.
Sisters of the groom, Mrs. Ned Wright, matron of honor and Miss Patricia Bohne, maid of honor attended the bride. Sisters of the bride, Miss Becky Bunnell and Miss Candy Bunnell were bridesmaids. Nieces of the groom were flower girls, Miss Jill Bohne and Miss Brenda Wright. They wore alternating floor-length dresses of yellow and orange and carried yellow mums trimmed with yellow and orange ribbons.
Kenneth Bohne gave the bride away. Kim Bohne was best man. Ushers were Bryon Layton and Morgan Hansen.
FOLLOWING the wedding, the newlyweds were honored at a reception, also held in the Moses Lake Stake House. The young couple chose October 11 because the groom’s parents and grandparents also chose this day to speak their vows.
The newlyweds honeymooned in Seattle, Washington, and will be making their home in Moses Lake.
