SALT LAKE CITY – Funeral services were held today for Angus McDonald, 76, 537 S. Redwood Road, Salt Lake City, who died Sunday at a local nursing home.

He was the brother of Lyle McDonald of Orem.

Mr. McDonald was born March 7, 1896, in Fremont, Wayne County, a son of Norman John and Rozilla Curtis McDonald. He married Grace Cardon on July 30, 1924, and she died in 1959. He then married Flora Mandarino Stancate on Sept. 28, 1967.

Mr. McDonald was a member of the LDS Church in the Poplar Grove Ward. A veteran of World War I, he was a charter member of American Legion Post 36.

Survivors include his widow, Salt Lake City; two sons and one daughter, A. Cardon McDonald, Satl Lake City; Bartley C. McDonald, Denver, Colo,; Mrs Russell (Darcia) Biddinger, Los Angeles, Calif.; seven grandchildren; one brother and two sisters, Lyle McDonald, Orem; Mrs. Inez West, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Tillie Anderson, Price.

Burial was in the Provo City Cemetery today at 2:15
