Amy Cardon Funk Odell, “42 University of Arizona BS (dietetics and nutrition), PhD ’65 University of California. Of Tucson, Arizona and Salt Lake City, Utah. Passed May 21, 2016, at 95. Worked on astronaut study for NASA Research, Director of Dietetics at Mannings Inc. Recipient of Silver Plate Award ’74. Numerous publications and honors. Active lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Survived by six children, ten grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Will be remembered for her prodigious energy, intellect and love of family.
