Alice Byrne Hinshaw, 71, of Piedmont and Evanston, Wyo., died in an Ogden hospital at 8:30 o’clock this morning after an illness of three weeks. She was born in Ogden on October 18, 1859, a daughter of Moses and Cathryne Cardon Byrne. She was the widow of Thomas Hinshaw.

Surviving are two children: W. E Hinshaw of Evanston, Mrs. George A. Rasmussen of Robertson, Wyo.; twelve grandchildren and one great-grandchild, and the following brothers and sisters: E. W. Byrne of Buhl, Ida.; W. H. Byrne of Bishop, Cal.; John E. Byrne of Dove Creek, Colo.; Mrs. Stanford Fife of Ogden; Mrs. S. W. Kendall of Uintah; Mrs. W. E. Corey, Mrs. Orson Corey of Ogden; James Williams and Louis Byrne of Rexburg, Ida., and Michael Byrne, Driggs. Ida.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 4 o’clock in the Larkin & Sons’ chapel, with Bishop A. G. Fernelius presiding. Friends may call at the chapel this evening and on Friday until time of services. The body will be shipped Friday evening to Piedmont and second services will be held at 2 o’clock Sunday in the Piedmont schoolhouse. The body may be viewed at the family home there on Saturday evening and on Sunday until time of services. Interment will be made in the Piedmont cemetery.
