UINTAH – Albert Frederick Kendell, 76, of 1151 E. 6600 S., died Sunday, July 10, 1977, at the McKay-Dee Hospital in Ogden.
Mr. Kendell was born May 29, 1901, Uintah, a son of Frederick William and Minnie Catherine Byrne Kendell.
On June 30, 1924, he was married to Louelle Jeanette (Jean) Vogel in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
He had worked for the Southern Pacific and Union Pacific railroads in the signal maintenance department. He was later self employed as a farmer, rancher and dairyman until retiring.
He was active in community affairs and served on the Uintah Town Board. He was on the board of directors of the Uintah Central Canal Co. and the Pioneer Canal Co.
He was active in the LDS Church and served 10 years in the Uintah Ward bishopric. He was a high priest.
Surviving are his widow of Uintah; one son, Albert Burns Kendell, Uintah; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Etta Fernelius, Ogden.
Funeral services will be announced by Chapel of Flowers Mortuary.

Albert Frederick Kendell’s parents were Frederick William and Minnie Catherine Byrne Kendell. He was born in Uintah in 1901, and he married Louelle Jeanette Vogel.
He owned a dairy farm in west Uintah at about 1100 East 6600 South. Albert raised his own hay, milked his own cows, processed the milk, and had his own milk delivery route. It was said that he was a fast man, and he would run from place to place delivering milk.
