2021 Reunion

Announcement

This year’s reunion will be Saturday, August 21st in Logan Utah.

The DEADLINE to order dinner is Tuesday, August 17th. Pre-payment only this year. You are welcome to bring your own dinner.

Health & Safety:

Masks are not required, but those with health concerns are welcome to wear them. We will have hand sanitizer stationed throughout the reunion for your use. We ask that if you show any symptoms of illness, that you consider staying home. We are planning to record each session for those that are not able to attend.

Website:

If you haven’t noticed yet, the Cardon Families website is under construction. Part of your reunion donation will help us be able to update it and keep it running smoothly. It is an integral part of our organization and keeps us linked to our family throughout the world. There is a wealth of history and information on the website that we hope everyone gets a chance to look at. We are very grateful to Carl Goodman who has taken care of it for many years!

Publications:

We will be offering some new publications we have never had before. Please come early during registration time to visit the publication table and the other presentations.

Non-Profit Status:

The Cardon Families Organization is now officially a non-profit organization. Because of that, we are not allowed to sell any books or publications for profit. (A profit is not made on the publications we sell at the reunion.) That said, we would like to compile a list of books that have been published about the Cardon family or the Waldensians. If you know of any such publications, please email Lisa Coombs at RnLcoombs@gmail.com so we can add this information to our website.

Group Travel:

The Cardon Family Extravaganza will take place September 2022 traveling to Italy and Greece. There have been a couple of cancellations, so if you are interested or know someone who is, please email Becky Smith at beckysmithtravel@gmail.com. Deposits are due September 1st.

Reunion Committee:

We are looking for volunteers or nominations of those who could help with the next reunion. We have a reunion every 2 years in August, typically the Saturday after BYU Education Week. Please email cardonreunion2021@gmail.com with any suggestions.

We look forward to seeing many of you at the reunion! It will be wonderful to get together, renew friendships and learn more about our ancestors. We hope you can come!
