Jesse Leon “Bud” Cardon, age 73, of Sandy, passed away Oct. 15, 2013. He was born Sept. 25, 1940, to Jesse Leo and Allie Andersen Cardon. He married Janiele Hansen on Sept. 22, 2001, and later solemnized in the LDS Jordan River Temple

Jesse had a good sense of humor and a quick wit, always having the right thing to say at any moment. He worked for many years and retired from Kennecott. 

Survived by his wife, Janiele, a daughter, Paulette (Matt) Bales, son Mark Eldon, two brothers, Arnie (DeAnn) and Gary (Carol) Cardon, four sisters, Colleen (Glen) Smith, Donna Mae (George) Joines, Lois Cardon and Margo (Don) Andersen. Preceded in death by his parents, brother Kenneth Cardon, sister Dolores Anderson. 

Graveside services were held Saturday, October 19, 2013, at 2:30 p.m. at Lehi City Cemetery, 1100 North 400 East. Friends and family called from 10:00 – 12:00 p.m. with a family luncheon following at the Midvale Utah LDS Church, 240 East 7570 South. Online guest book at wingmortuary.com.
