KLINGLER-Quentin Guy Klingler, 75, was born August 24, 1924, in St. Anthony, Idaho, to Karl C. and Genevieve Cardon Klingler. He was drafted out of the University of Utah to fight for the U.S. Army in Belgium and France during World War II. After recovering from a wound, he returned to the United States, served on a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and completed research and a degree in physics at the University of Utah. He and Cynthia Kaufman Klingler married in 1964. He worked as a health physicist and a nuclear physicist until the late 1980s. After he retired, he served as a constant consultant to both the U.S. government and his children. He died May 10, 2000. He will be desperately missed by many friends and relatives, his children, and his canine companions, Bill and Penny. Viewing will be Saturday, May 13, from 8:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m., at French’s Mortuary on Wyoming. Services will follow at 11:00 a.m.
